The software’s output data are sufficiently accurate and reliable to achieve the clinically significant objective of assessing and monitoring oral health, in the population of people living in institutions, and in the context of their oral health status.

Clinically significant has been defined as the positive impact of Vigidental on the health of an individual or nursing home population, and can be demonstrated by reference to existing data from studies conducted for the same intended use; in Belgium, Dr. Barabra Janssens, but also by the clinical evaluation of Dr. Simon Benoliel, in the Dentalmobilis project, the project for the implementation of a Plan de Santé bucco-dentaire des Aînés en maison de repos -UNESSA, or the Project « Raising awareness and training nursing staff in the importance of oral hygiene care in the fight against infections in residential establishments », financed by the King Baudouin Foundation, where in the end 8600 patients were examined by dentists and just under 1000 with the software developed by Vigident.
